Unfortunately, there is a chip on top of the cookie jar, under the lid. The ceramic chip fell into the jar itself, so I may be able to glue it back on. I just hate to accept a new item chipped like it is. It would be difficult to send it back at this point. I just feel it was a lot of money to spend on a damaged item...
